Job Requirements
- Minimum one year of prep/line cooking experience
- Safe Serve certification or DOH accreditation
- Ability to follow food safety and hygiene procedures
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Good communication skills
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment
Job Qualifications
- Minimum one year of prep or line cook experience in a high-volume café or similar setting
- Safe Serve certification or Department of Health accreditation
- Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
- Ability to work under high stress and fast-paced conditions
Job Duties
- Prepare, cook and assemble food products following standard recipes and special diet orders
- Ensure food preparation meets established quantity, quality, and hygiene standards
- Work efficiently to achieve food ticket times within 10 minutes
- Pre-pack ingredients in anticipation of peak trade periods
- Maintain clean and hygienic workstations and kitchen equipment
- Communicate effectively with front and back-of-house teams for seamless service
- Report any equipment malfunctions or shortages to management promptly
