Job Requirements

  • Minimum one year of prep/line cooking experience
  • Safe Serve certification or DOH accreditation
  • Ability to follow food safety and hygiene procedures
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Good communication skills
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum one year of prep or line cook experience in a high-volume café or similar setting
  • Safe Serve certification or Department of Health accreditation
  • Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
  • Ability to work under high stress and fast-paced conditions

Job Duties

  • Prepare, cook and assemble food products following standard recipes and special diet orders
  • Ensure food preparation meets established quantity, quality, and hygiene standards
  • Work efficiently to achieve food ticket times within 10 minutes
  • Pre-pack ingredients in anticipation of peak trade periods
  • Maintain clean and hygienic workstations and kitchen equipment
  • Communicate effectively with front and back-of-house teams for seamless service
  • Report any equipment malfunctions or shortages to management promptly
