Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous cook experience required
- Ability to work Monday through Thursday, 5:45 am to 1:15 pm
- Ability to follow safety and food handling guidelines
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks
- Reliable transportation to Cummins Plant Cafe location
- Ability to adhere to company policies and procedures
- Must be able to work full-time or part-time schedules

Job Duties
- Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions
- Serves meals using correct portioning and ensures food temperature, taste, and presentation meet established standards
- Uses ticket collection procedures during service and maintains accurate records
- Cleans kitchen and equipment after preparation and serving, adhering to cleanliness and food safety protocols
- Stores or discards excess food according to safe food-handling procedures
- Maintains cleanliness and organization of refrigerators and storerooms
- Operates and maintains kitchen equipment properly
- Assists in production planning, record keeping, and ordering supplies
- Reports maintenance needs or equipment faults immediately
- Attends safety and in-service meetings
- Maintains good relationships with coworkers, customers, and managers
- Performs duties safely, maintaining a clean and safe work environment
- Ensures compliance with HACCP standards and company policies including use of safety gloves and proper lifting techniques
