Job Requirements
- High school diploma or foreign equivalent
- Six months of culinary experience in a fine-dining or high-volume environment at a high-end restaurant, resort, or private club
- Experience in preparing, cooking, plating, and garnishing food following par sheets and recipes
- Ability to customize orders to accommodate customers' dietary needs and preferences
- Experience preparing meats, seafood, poultry, and vegetables using various kitchen equipment
- Proven ability to cook and serve menu items at the correct temperature and within a timely manner

- Skill in customizing orders for customers' unique preferences and dietary requirements
- Experience preparing a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables using broilers, ovens, grills, and fryers
- Capability to prepare and cook a variety of menu items at appropriate temperatures and in a timely manner
Job Duties
- Prepare, season, and cook soups, meats, vegetables, desserts, and other food items in a restaurant
- Take inventory of all items required for station set-up and determine those items that require preparation
- Coordinate and time orders with other kitchen operations
- Requisition items needed to produce menu items
- Ensure that assigned work areas and equipment are clean and sanitary
- Set-up, maintain, and break down prep cook station
- Cover, date, and neatly store all leftover products that are reusable
- Make recommendations for maintenance, repair, and upkeep of the line prep area and equipment
- Close the kitchen properly using the closing checklist
- Assist with other duties as assigned by the Chef
