Job Requirements
- Able to follow a recipe and have basic cooking skills
- Willing to learn and follow safety, preparation, and sanitation standards
- Passionate about delivering great customer service
- Able to work with a dedicated team and help direct others
- Neat in appearance and with professional behavior
- Complete required orientation and training
- Pass physical examination and pre-employment screening
Job Qualifications
- Successfully complete pre-employment process and screening
- Able to pass physical examination given in behalf of gainful employment within the facility
- Satisfactorily pass through required orientation and training
- Be able to follow written and/or verbal instructions
- Previous experience in food service
Job Duties
- Prepare meals and nourishments using standardized recipes for regular and therapeutic diets
- Adhere to regulations and company policies regarding diets, food preparation standards, and infection control
- Provide oversight to dietary aide positions during shifts
- Receive and inspect food deliveries for accuracy and quality
- Follow safety, preparation, and sanitation standards
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Collaborate with team members to meet dietary and health goals of residents
