Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous cook experience required
- Ability to work Monday through Friday, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm
- Ability to follow standardized recipes and safety guidelines
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members
- Willingness to attend safety and in-service meetings
Job Qualifications
- Previous cook experience required
- Ability to prepare food according to recipes and quality standards
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain cleanliness
- Good communication and interpersonal skills

- Commitment to safety protocols and procedures
Job Duties
- Prepare high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions
- Serve meals or prepare for delivery using correct portioning and temperature standards
- Use established ticket collection procedures during service
- Clean kitchen after preparation and serving, maintaining high cleanliness standards
- Store or discard excess food in accordance with safe food-handling procedures
- Keep refrigerators and storerooms clean and neat
- Operate and maintain kitchen equipment as instructed
- Assist in production planning, record keeping and reporting
- Assist in ordering and receiving food and supplies as required
- Report maintenance issues, faulty equipment or accidents immediately
- Attend in-service and safety meetings
- Maintain good working relationships with coworkers, customers, administrators and managers
- Perform job safely while maintaining a clean and safe work environment
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Ensure proper presentation, portion control and serving temperatures following HACCP standards
- Commit personally to safety of self and others
- Abide by company policies including use of protective gloves, mitts, slip-resistant shoes and proper lifting techniques
