Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent certificate
- Minimum two years experience in food preparation, purchasing, sanitation, and menu preparation
- Ability to read, speak, and understand English
- Ability to follow instructions, recipes, menus, and food labels accurately
- Positive attitude and ability to work well with elderly
- Valid First Aid Certification (may be required)
- Commitment to senior care mission
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent certificate
- At least two years experience in food preparation and kitchen safety in a restaurant, healthcare facility, or institution
- Ability to speak, read, and understand English
- Positive attitude and ability to work well with elderly residents
- Knowledge of food labels, recipe books, and menu preparation
- First Aid Certification (may be required)
- Experience in senior care industry (preferred)
Job Duties
- Prepare appealing and nutritious meals for residents and guests
- Follow recipes, menus, and food labels accurately
- Maintain kitchen safety and sanitation standards
- Assist with food purchasing and inventory management
- Collaborate with dining services team and report to Director of Dining Services
- Demonstrate positive attitude and professionalism in the workplace
- Ensure meals meet dietary and health requirements of senior residents
