Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent certificate
  • Minimum two years experience in food preparation, purchasing, sanitation, and menu preparation
  • Ability to read, speak, and understand English
  • Ability to follow instructions, recipes, menus, and food labels accurately
  • Positive attitude and ability to work well with elderly
  • Valid First Aid Certification (may be required)
  • Commitment to senior care mission

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent certificate
  • At least two years experience in food preparation and kitchen safety in a restaurant, healthcare facility, or institution
  • Ability to speak, read, and understand English
  • Positive attitude and ability to work well with elderly residents
  • Knowledge of food labels, recipe books, and menu preparation
  • First Aid Certification (may be required)
  • Experience in senior care industry (preferred)

Job Duties

  • Prepare appealing and nutritious meals for residents and guests
  • Follow recipes, menus, and food labels accurately
  • Maintain kitchen safety and sanitation standards
  • Assist with food purchasing and inventory management
  • Collaborate with dining services team and report to Director of Dining Services
  • Demonstrate positive attitude and professionalism in the workplace
  • Ensure meals meet dietary and health requirements of senior residents
