Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 0-2 years of related cooking or food preparation experience beneficial
- Ability to work flexible shifts including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must be reliable and punctual with strong attendance
- Ability to follow instructions and work under supervision
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks related to cooking
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in a food service or cooking role beneficial
- Ability to follow recipes and maintain food safety standards
- Team-oriented with excellent communication skills
- Adaptable and able to work varying shifts including weekends and holidays
- Strong customer service orientation
- Basic understanding of kitchen equipment and food preparation techniques
Job Duties
- Accurately and efficiently prepare, portion, cook, and present a variety of hot and/or cold food items for various meal periods, including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special/catered events
- Read and follow basic recipes and/or product directions for preparing various food items
- Prepare food and serve customers at an a la carte and/or operate a grill station
- Attend work and show for scheduled shifts on time with satisfactory regularity
- Maintain a clean, safe, and healthy work environment
- Reduce food waste by following portion control and minimizing leftovers
- Perform other duties as assigned depending on business necessities and client requirements
