Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- at least 2 years of relevant food service experience preferably in deli and catering
- supervisory experience desired
- ability to read, speak English, and perform basic math
- willingness to obtain food sanitation certification if not already certified
- physical ability to lift 15 to 50 pounds regularly
- ability to stand and work for extended periods
- strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
- willingness to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience in a food service environment preferably with deli and catering responsibilities
- experience with product development and menu planning
- experience in a supervisory role including training and directing others
- ability to read and speak English and perform basic math related to recipes and orders
- ability to follow recipes and meet quality standards consistently
- food and sanitation training and certification or willingness to be trained
- familiarity with organic and natural foods
Job Duties
- Prepare appealing and nutritious foods for deli and catering customers
- collaborate professionally with prepared foods and retail facilities teams
- maintain an engaging and service-oriented demeanor with customers and team members
- operate commercial kitchen equipment including mixers, food processors, stoves, ovens, and knives
- work efficiently and with control in a fast-paced, creative environment
- lift and carry 15 to 50 pounds regularly
- follow recipes accurately to meet quality standards
