Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • at least 2 years of relevant food service experience preferably in deli and catering
  • supervisory experience desired
  • ability to read, speak English, and perform basic math
  • willingness to obtain food sanitation certification if not already certified
  • physical ability to lift 15 to 50 pounds regularly
  • ability to stand and work for extended periods
  • strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
  • willingness to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of experience in a food service environment preferably with deli and catering responsibilities
  • experience with product development and menu planning
  • experience in a supervisory role including training and directing others
  • ability to read and speak English and perform basic math related to recipes and orders
  • ability to follow recipes and meet quality standards consistently
  • food and sanitation training and certification or willingness to be trained
  • familiarity with organic and natural foods

Job Duties

  • Prepare appealing and nutritious foods for deli and catering customers
  • collaborate professionally with prepared foods and retail facilities teams
  • maintain an engaging and service-oriented demeanor with customers and team members
  • operate commercial kitchen equipment including mixers, food processors, stoves, ovens, and knives
  • work efficiently and with control in a fast-paced, creative environment
  • lift and carry 15 to 50 pounds regularly
  • follow recipes accurately to meet quality standards
