Job Requirements
- One year of culinary, prep, and grill experience preferred
- Ability to work full or part time shifts including early morning and evening hours
- Must follow safety protocols including the use of protective gloves and slip-resistant shoes
- Must be able to maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Ability to handle physical aspects of the job including standing for long periods and lifting
- Willingness to comply with company policies and procedures
- Must be eligible to work in the United States
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- At least one year of culinary, preparation, or grill experience preferred
- Knowledge of federal, state, and corporate food safety standards
- Ability to follow standardized recipes accurately
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and safety standards in a kitchen environment
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and maintain quality under pressure
Job Duties
- Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions
- Serves meals or prepares for delivery using correct portioning and ensuring food is at correct temperature
- Uses established ticket collection procedures during service and maintains records
- Cleans kitchen after preparation and serving, maintaining high cleanliness standards
- Stores or discards excess food in accordance with safe food-handling procedures
- Keeps refrigerators and storerooms clean and neat and ensures food and supplies are stored per standards
- Operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed
- Assists in production planning, record keeping and reporting as required
- Assists in ordering and receiving food and supplies
- Reports maintenance needs, faulty equipment or accidents to supervisor immediately
- Attends in-service and safety meetings
- Maintains good working relationships with coworkers, customers, administrators and managers
- Performs job safely while maintaining a clean, safe work environment
- Ensures proper presentation, portion control, and serving temperatures following HACCP standards
- Commits personally to safety and abides by all company policies and procedures related to safety equipment and practices
- Performs other duties as assigned
