Job Description

This position is a Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) employment opportunity assigned to the Bowling Alley located on McConnell Air Force Base. The Bowling Alley serves as a recreational facility providing engaging and enjoyable activities for military personnel, their families, and the surrounding community. Job Requirements

  • must be able to complete a pre-employment physical
  • must obtain a food handler's certificate
  • successful completion of Tier 1 Level background investigation
  • physically able to frequently lift up to 40 pounds
  • able to stand, walk, stoop, reach, push, pull, and bend for long periods
  • no substitution of education for experience
  • proof of eligibility required
  • provide transcripts if qualifying by education
  • foreign education must be validated

Job Qualifications

  • experience in food preparation and presentation in a grill, snack bar, restaurant, club or similar setting
  • ability to follow instructions
  • knowledge of food service equipment operation and cleaning
  • ability to season and judge doneness of food
  • physical ability to lift and stand for extended periods
  • completion of food handler's training or certification
