This position is a Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) employment opportunity assigned to the Bowling Alley located on McConnell Air Force Base. The Bowling Alley serves as a recreational facility providing engaging and enjoyable activities for military personnel, their families, and the surrounding community. Job Requirements
- must be able to complete a pre-employment physical
- must obtain a food handler's certificate
- successful completion of Tier 1 Level background investigation
- physically able to frequently lift up to 40 pounds
- able to stand, walk, stoop, reach, push, pull, and bend for long periods
- no substitution of education for experience
- proof of eligibility required
- provide transcripts if qualifying by education
- foreign education must be validated
Job Qualifications
- experience in food preparation and presentation in a grill, snack bar, restaurant, club or similar setting
- ability to follow instructions
- knowledge of food service equipment operation and cleaning
- ability to season and judge doneness of food
- physical ability to lift and stand for extended periods
- completion of food handler's training or certification
