Job Requirements
- high school diploma or GED
- at least one year of previous experience in a kitchen environment is required
- must be team oriented, empathetic, friendly and show initiative
- must be able to represent the hotel in a professional manner to hotel guests
Job Qualifications
- previous cooking experience is preferred
- strong understanding of food safety practices
- team player with a passion for culinary arts
- ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- knowledge of kitchen equipment such as ovens, grills, broilers, fryers, steam tables, mixers, knives, slicers
- high school diploma or GED
Job Duties
- prepare and cook menu items to the highest standards
- ensure the kitchen meets health and safety regulations
- collaborate with the kitchen team to deliver exceptional guest experiences
- maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area
- perform all methods of cooking and portion control in accordance with hotel specifications
- properly use all kitchen equipment and ensure their safe use
- maintain food line to ensure all required items are properly stocked
