Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or GED
  • at least one year of previous experience in a kitchen environment is required
  • must be team oriented, empathetic, friendly and show initiative
  • must be able to represent the hotel in a professional manner to hotel guests

Job Qualifications

  • previous cooking experience is preferred
  • strong understanding of food safety practices
  • team player with a passion for culinary arts
  • ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • knowledge of kitchen equipment such as ovens, grills, broilers, fryers, steam tables, mixers, knives, slicers
  • high school diploma or GED

Job Duties

  • prepare and cook menu items to the highest standards
  • ensure the kitchen meets health and safety regulations
  • collaborate with the kitchen team to deliver exceptional guest experiences
  • maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area
  • perform all methods of cooking and portion control in accordance with hotel specifications
  • properly use all kitchen equipment and ensure their safe use
  • maintain food line to ensure all required items are properly stocked
