Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum of 1 year of cooking experience as a grill cook or line cook, preferably in a healthcare setting
- ability to follow recipes and production guidelines
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- availability for full-time work including occasional weekends and holidays
- effective communication skills
- ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Job Qualifications

- ServSafe certification preferred
Job Duties
- Follow recipes and production sheets as written and inform manager or supervisor of any adjustments made
- document adjustments on production sheets
- prepare pan garnishes for front of the house operations
- set up steam tables on time and organize them according to diagrams to avoid delays on tray line including specials
- review all food items on steam tables with supervisor
- ensure all hot food temperatures are at least 165 degrees for entrees, starches, and vegetables
- monitor temperatures throughout the meal service
- ensure all wells are covered with a lid until serving time
