Job Requirements

  • Previous experience working in a kitchen
  • Certificate or associate degree in culinary arts or cooking
  • Valid food handling certificate
  • Knowledge of geriatric diets
  • Ability to use cutting tools, cookware, and bakeware
  • Knowledge of cooking procedures and methods such as grilling, baking, and boiling
  • Ability to follow sanitation procedures
  • Excellent team working skills

Job Qualifications

  • Knowledge of geriatric diets

Job Duties

  • Plan, prepare, and cook food items to ensure high-quality service
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment
  • Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and food storage procedures
  • Follow all sanitation procedures strictly
  • Work effectively as part of a team
  • Use cutting tools, cookware, and bakeware safely and efficiently
  • Cater to resident-specific dietary needs including geriatric diets
