Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to perform basic arithmetic
  • Willingness to learn cooking skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Ability to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays
  • Trustworthy and respectful of others

Job Duties

  • Prepare meals for residents in accordance with regulatory guidelines
  • Ensure quality and correct temperature of food items
  • Maintain safety and sanitary conditions in the kitchen
  • Comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and company policies
  • Provide excellent customer service and build relationships with residents and colleagues
  • Monitor and manage food inventory and supplies
  • Assist with meal planning and special dietary needs
