Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- 1-3 years experience preparing meals in a full-service kitchen such as a restaurant, hotel, resort, or convention center
- ability to work days, nights, weekends and holidays as dictated by events
- ability to work with other staff members in the facility
- ability to undertake and complete multiple tasks
- ability to be creative with buffet food presentations and maintain a quality product
- ability to work well under pressure and balance multiple priorities and assignments to meet deadlines
- demonstrate initiative and ability to think, work and make independent decisions based on sound judgement
- attention to detail
- valid Food Handlers Card

Job Duties
- Fulfilling the service per each banquet event order
- cleaning kitchen equipment as assigned
- design creative buffet food presentations
- measure and mix ingredients according to recipes
- taste and season foods accordingly
- prep and prepare meats such as beef, chicken, and fish
- know final cooking temperatures of meats per Pima Health Code
- wash, peel, cut and shred vegetables and fruits
- maintain clean, organized, and sanitized work area
- abide by state sanitation and health regulations and TCC requirements
- keep all food storage areas clean, organized, labeled, and dated
- communicate clearly with kitchen supervisor and executive chef
- maintain positive and professional work environment
- follow directions from kitchen supervisor and executive chef
- report to work on time in proper uniform including name tag
- fill out all HACCP control paperwork as directed
