Job Requirements

Job Qualifications

  • Proven cooking experience required

  • Familiarity with kitchen equipment and maintenance

Job Duties

  • Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions to meet production schedules
  • Serves meals or prepares for delivery using correct portioning and ensures food is at the correct temperature and appealing
  • Uses established ticket collection procedures during service and maintains accurate records
  • Cleans kitchen after preparation and serving, maintaining high cleanliness standards
  • Stores or discards excess food safely in accordance with food-handling procedures
  • Keeps refrigerators and storerooms clean and ensures proper food and supply storage
  • Operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed
  • Assists in production planning, record keeping, and ordering of food and supplies
  • Reports maintenance needs or accidents immediately
  • Attends in-service and safety meetings
  • Maintains good working relationships with coworkers, customers, and management
  • Performs job safely maintaining a clean and safe work environment
  • Ensures proper food presentation and portion control while following HACCP standards
  • Adheres to company safety policies including the use of protective gloves, oven mitts, and slip-resistant shoes
  • Performs other assigned duties as required
