Job Requirements
- Part-time availability for approximately 22.5 hours per week
- Willingness to work day shifts from 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
- Must be available to work some weekends and holidays
- Ability to maintain a sanitary work environment
- Physical ability to perform tasks including lifting, pushing, and pulling
- Basic math proficiency for inventory and portion control
Job Qualifications
- Quantity cooking experience
- Strong ability to take direction
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as pushing, pulling, and lifting
- Basic math skills
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred
Job Duties
- Prepare food for patients and others using a variety of production tools, techniques and equipment
- Ensure meal service demands are met
- Maintain a sanitary work environment
- Take customer orders and prepare food to their specifications
- Grill, cook, and fry foods
- Plan and manage work orders to ensure all items of an order are finished and served at the same time
- Grill and garnish hamburgers and other meats
- Perform simple food preparation tasks such as slicing meats and vegetables
- Complete orders from steam tables, plate the food, and serve to customers
- Order supplies and stock the shelves
- Rotate food and stamp the time and date on the food in the coolers
- Clean food preparation equipment and areas
