Job Requirements

  • willingness to work a variety of day/night shifts
  • able to be on your feet for long periods of time
  • able to lift at least 20 pounds
  • at least 21 years of age

Job Qualifications

  • 1-2 years previous experience in a professional kitchen environment
  • active Food handler's certification or the ability to get it
  • strong organizational skills
  • ability to work independently
  • ability to lift at least 20 pounds
  • at least 21 years of age

Job Duties

  • Greet guests in the restaurant and inquire about their meal
  • check in with Sous Chef daily for objectives
  • ensure assigned workstation has proper level of par stocks and supplies according to daily menus and banquets
  • set up a la carte stations required for breakfast, lunch, or dinner
  • ensure all dishes are prepared and presented in accordance with standard recipes and presentations
  • perform banquet and kitchen line functions as directed by the Executive or Sous Chef
  • work closely with Sales and Planning teams
  • report maintenance/housekeeping needs and ensure timely resolution
  • follow up on requests for accuracy
  • maintain effective communication with all operating departments
  • be prepared to assist team members when needed
  • communicate any updates or changes
  • keep up to date with the latest cooking trends
  • recommend changes and additions to better operations and food offerings
