Job Requirements

Job Qualifications
- 1-2 years previous experience in a professional kitchen environment
- active Food handler's certification or the ability to get it
- strong organizational skills

Job Duties
- Greet guests in the restaurant and inquire about their meal
- check in with Sous Chef daily for objectives
- ensure assigned workstation has proper level of par stocks and supplies according to daily menus and banquets
- set up a la carte stations required for breakfast, lunch, or dinner
- ensure all dishes are prepared and presented in accordance with standard recipes and presentations
- perform banquet and kitchen line functions as directed by the Executive or Sous Chef
- work closely with Sales and Planning teams
- report maintenance/housekeeping needs and ensure timely resolution
- follow up on requests for accuracy
- maintain effective communication with all operating departments
- be prepared to assist team members when needed
- communicate any updates or changes
- keep up to date with the latest cooking trends
- recommend changes and additions to better operations and food offerings
