Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 pounds
  • willingness to work 8-12 hour shifts including early mornings and late nights
  • ability to obtain Food Handler's permit and/or Foodservice Sanitation Certification as required by local laws
  • punctual reliable attendance
  • willingness to comply with all safety and sanitation standards

Job Duties

  • Measures and mixes ingredients according to recipe using kitchen utensils and equipment to prepare various food items
  • follows measurement charts to ensure consistent and quality products
  • bakes fries and microwaves main dishes and cooks or heats other food items
  • observes and tests cooking by using sensory techniques to ensure proper cooking
  • washes peels cuts dices and shreds vegetables and fruits
  • maintains cleanliness and sanitation of food preparation areas and utensils
  • monitors thermostat controls of kitchen equipment and reports malfunctions
  • records product usage and waste on charts
  • operates dishwasher
  • delivers clean plates utensils glasses to service areas
