Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 pounds
willingness to work 8-12 hour shifts including early mornings and late nights
ability to obtain Food Handler's permit and/or Foodservice Sanitation Certification as required by local laws
punctual reliable attendance
willingness to comply with all safety and sanitation standards

Job Qualifications

Ability to learn food safety procedures including safe temperatures at which ingredients must be kept
ability to work as part of a team collaborating on complex orders
interpersonal skills to interact with crew members and management
consistently follow ingredient measurements for quality products
ability to follow directions and all safety requirements

Job Duties

Measures and mixes ingredients according to recipe using kitchen utensils and equipment to prepare various food items
follows measurement charts to ensure consistent and quality products
bakes fries and microwaves main dishes and cooks or heats other food items
observes and tests cooking by using sensory techniques to ensure proper cooking
washes peels cuts dices and shreds vegetables and fruits
maintains cleanliness and sanitation of food preparation areas and utensils
monitors thermostat controls of kitchen equipment and reports malfunctions
records product usage and waste on charts
operates dishwasher
delivers clean plates utensils glasses to service areas
