Job Duties
- Create appetizing meals that adhere to residents' dietary restrictions and preferences, ensuring they are served at the proper temperature
- Handle and prepare food in a sanitary manner, keeping work areas clean and reporting any unsafe conditions
- Follow written daily menus and standard recipes while understanding how to prepare therapeutic diets
- Work cooperatively with food service staff and other departments to ensure seamless meal service
- Participate in maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation, as well as assuming quality assurance duties as assigned
