Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 2-3 years related work experience or equivalent combination
- prior experience in food service
- valid ServSafe or approved Food Handler Certification
- ability to stand, reach, lift, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, push and pull items up to 50 lbs
- manual dexterity
- able to work flexible hours
- adherence to uniform and personal hygiene standards
Job Qualifications

- strong working knowledge of restaurant operations
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation
- proficiency in quality guest service

Job Duties
- Prepares or directs preparation of food served using established production procedures and systems
- determines amount and type of food and supplies required using production systems
- ensures availability of supplies and approved substitutions in adequate time for preparation
- sets steam table
- complies with sanitation, personal hygiene, and health standards
- observes proper food preparation and handling techniques
- stores food properly and safely, marking date and item
- reports necessary equipment repair and maintenance
- plans food production to coordinate with meal serving hours
- apportions food for serving
- maintains daily production records
- keeps work area neat and clean including dishwashing
- cleans and maintains equipment used in food preparation
- completes food temperature checks before service
- completes requirements for training, attendance, and dress codes
- supports company mission and values
- participates in safety, confidentiality, quality assurance, and compliance procedures
- cooperates with coworkers using tactful communication
- promotes positive public relations with guests
- performs other duties as required
