Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years experience in a cafeteria setting
  • Valid food handler's license
  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Ability to pass background checks including criminal, drug screen, physical, TB test
  • Ability to pass child abuse central registry search

Job Duties

  • Prepare healthy and tasty food in compliance with all applicable Federal, State, Local, and National School Lunch and Breakfast Program guidelines
  • Perform food preparation and cooking duties
  • Maintain kitchen, dining room, storage areas, outside spaces, garbage areas, and loading docks in a clean and sanitary condition
  • Maintain daily and monthly inventory logs of all supplies, materials, and equipment
  • Ensure all items are properly accounted for
  • Maintain materials safety data sheets as needed
