Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous cooking and food service experience preferred
  • Ability to follow standardized recipes and instructions
  • Ability to work a full-time schedule Monday through Friday, 6:00 am to 3:00 pm
  • Ability to maintain cleanliness and safety standards
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely
  • Ability to communicate and work well with others

Job Qualifications

  • Previous cooking and food service experience preferred
  • Ability to prepare food in accordance with federal, state and corporate standards
  • Knowledge of safe food-handling procedures
  • Ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Commitment to safety standards and proper use of protective equipment
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Job Duties

  • Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions to meet production, delivery and service schedules
  • Serves meals or prepares for delivery by using correct portioning, meeting outlined standards, ensuring that food is at the correct temperature and is attractive and tasty
  • Uses established ticket collection procedures during service
  • Cleans kitchen after preparation and serving, maintaining high standards of cleanliness
  • Operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed
  • Assists in production planning, record keeping and reporting as required
  • Reports needed maintenance, faulty equipment or accidents to the supervisor immediately
