Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least one year of relevant cooking experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Prior cooking or kitchen experience in a cafeteria or large volume production facility preferred
- Understanding of safety procedures in food service environments
- Must be at least 18 years old

- Knowledge of safety procedures in a kitchen or food service environment
Job Duties
- Refer to Daily Prep List at the start of each shift for assigned duties and complete opening and closing checklists daily
- Set up workstation with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment
- Safely use a variety of kitchen utensils including knives and other items
- Operate kitchen equipment including ovens, stoves, slicers, and mixers
- Comply with standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards, recipes, policies, and procedures
- Handle, store, label, and rotate all products properly in accordance with state laws
- Stock and maintain sufficient levels of food products at line stations
- Understand menu items and responsibly prep ingredients
- Multitask in a high-volume kitchen
- Handle hot and cold work conditions during food preparation
- Perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, pushing, kneeling, walking, and standing for extended periods
- Perform other related duties as assigned
