Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous cooking experience preferred
- Ability to follow recipes and nutrition guidelines
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to work part-time evening shifts including Fridays and Saturdays
- Good interpersonal skills
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods

Job Duties
- Follows the approved menu program or approved substitution menu that meets nutritional requirements, as directed
- Responds to resident likes and dislikes maintaining high resident satisfaction
- Ensure that all foods are prepared to satisfaction of residents and in accordance with safe food handling practices
- All food items are stored appropriately and dated properly
- A Cook will help maintain a clean kitchen
- Perform other duties as assigned or needed
