Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in a food preparation or cook role preferred
  • ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • adherence to personal hygiene and grooming standards
  • ability to stand, lift, bend, and perform physical tasks up to 50 pounds
  • capability to follow written and oral instructions
  • punctuality and positive attitude
  • ability to maintain cleanliness and safety standards
  • completed ServSafe Food Handler certification

Job Duties

  • preparing high-quality food items for customers utilizing methods such as grilling, steaming, and frying
  • following company recipe and presentation guidelines to meet or exceed guests' expectations
  • coordinating food orders to support timely and efficient delivery to each table
  • ensuring proper food safety and sanitation standards to ensure guest safety
  • meeting special customer requests while maintaining high-quality standards
  • prepping food including portioning, stocking, shucking oysters, peeling shrimp, and setting up stations
  • performing utility tasks including cleaning dishes, restocking supplies, breaking down and sanitizing the kitchen, maintaining cleanliness in restrooms and parking lot
  • receiving and checking deliveries, labeling and dating food, managing waste such as filtering grease and taking out trash
  • reporting to work on time in a neat uniform and adhering to company policies
