Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent certification
- Minimum one year prior experience in food preparation in commercial, military, or institutional settings
- Relevant technical training courses in food service preparation and cooking preferred
- Prior cooking and correctional food service training preferred
- Must be able to communicate production and service requirements clearly to all personnel

Job Duties
- Prepare food according to the menu plan
- Manage inventory by placing and receiving orders for food and supplies
- Ensure food quality and schedule preparations
- Guide and train employees including inmate/detainee food service workers
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and safety
- Train inmate/detainee food service workers and inspect their work
