Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous cooking or food preparation experience preferred
- knowledge of food safety regulations
- ability to work flexible seasonal hours from April through September
- physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform kitchen tasks

Job Duties
- Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions
- serves meals or prepares for delivery using correct portioning, ensuring food is at the correct temperature and visually appealing
- tastes all prepared food items to guarantee quality
- uses established ticket collection procedures during service
- cleans kitchen after preparation and serving, maintaining high cleanliness standards
- stores or discards excess food in accordance with safe food-handling procedures
- operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed
- assists in production planning, record keeping, and reporting as required
- assists in ordering and receiving food and supplies
- reports maintenance needs, faulty equipment, or accidents immediately
- attends in-service and safety meetings
- maintains good working relationships with coworkers, customers, administrators, and managers
- performs job safely while maintaining a clean and safe work environment
- ensures proper presentation, portion control, and maintenance of serving temperatures
- adheres to HACCP standards
- commits personally to safety for self and others
- abides by company policies including use of cut gloves and slip-resistant shoes
