Job Requirements
- Must be over the age of 18
- Must reside in the United States within the state of Oregon
- Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
- Ability to pass a food service sanitation course
- Ability to read, comprehend, and follow recipes
- Experience in food service or restaurant experience required
- Comfortable standing, stopping, squatting, twisting, and moving frequently

- Strong working knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and safety and sanitation practices
Job Duties
- Preparation and oversight of household meals
- Prepare healthy, nutritious meals from scratch whenever possible
- Maintain unit portions and report when a resident eats less than usual
- Utilize fruits and vegetables grown in the Elite Care gardens whenever possible
- Understand and follow each resident's service plan as it relates to nutrition and hydration
- Support residents' autonomy by allowing residents to do as much for themselves as possible
