Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a food service or cook role preferred
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to follow detailed instructions
- Basic math skills for portion control
- Willingness to adhere to hospital policies
- Ability to maintain confidentiality according to HIPAA guidelines

Job Duties
- Prepares assigned meals for staff and patients following HACCP guidelines
- Serves the hot portion of the patient’s meal according to the patient’s diet and other personal preferences
- Responsible for timely set up, food preparation, service, and clean-up of catered meals
- Maintains a clean, orderly work area, following a clean as you go policy
- Protect patients' rights by maintaining confidentiality of personal, medical and financial information per HIPAA
