Job Duties
- Work well in a fast-paced environment maintaining good working relationships with all employees
- Possess strong leadership skills and maintain willing cooperation of peers
- Read basic English and communicate with management and back-of-house employees
- Follow company policies and procedures for handling, preparation, and serving of food items
- Handle knives appropriately with high safety awareness
- Wear food-handling gloves and cutting glove
- Make independent decisions about food quality and standards
- Maintain high personal hygiene and follow health department regulations
- Follow health department food handling regulations and other requirements
- Wear proper uniform
- Stand in one place for long periods
- Work in a slightly smoky environment
- Lift up to 70 pounds onto a utility cart without assistance
- Communicate effectively with front-of-house staff
- Be punctual for scheduled shifts
