Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent certificate
- two years experience in food preparation, food purchasing, kitchen safety sanitation, and menu preparation
- proficiency in English reading and comprehension
- ability to follow recipe instructions
- positive interpersonal skills, particularly with elderly individuals
- valid First Aid Certification may be required

Job Duties
- prepare appealing, nutritious, heart-healthy, tasteful and fresh meals for residents and guests
- follow recipes, menus, and food labels accurately
- maintain kitchen safety and sanitation standards
- assist with food purchasing and inventory
- collaborate with the dining services team
- demonstrate positive attitude and work effectively with the elderly
- comply with health and safety regulations
