Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • previous cooking experience preferred
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • physical stamina to stand for long periods

Job Duties

  • Treat every guest as a guest in your own home
  • Setting up, cleaning, and organizing work stations
  • Maintain backup supplies
  • Preparing food items for the shift
  • Preparing utensils, fryers and grill for shift
  • Receiving orders from waitstaff on handwritten tickets or computerized system
  • Memorize our menu
  • Accurately prepare food orders as stated in training material
  • Accurately plate food orders as stated in training material
  • Cook food orders according to health and safety standards
  • Handle multiple food orders at one time
  • Monitor multiple food orders as new orders arrive
  • Ensure each guest order has the correct food and sides
  • Deliver food order to waitstaff in a timely manner
  • Store all food properly
  • Sanitize and clean work stations and utensils
  • Assist other cooks in preparing food or helping other team members when needed
  • Comply with health regulations
  • Maintain regular cleaning standards and sanitation levels
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Physical stamina to withstand a full shift while standing
  • Work efficiently and be a self-starter
  • Retain self-composure
  • Possess a sense of urgency and timing
  • Willing and able to follow instructions
  • Work calmly and effectively under pressure
