Job Requirements
- Must be over the age of 18
- must reside in the United States within the state of Oregon
- we do not offer relocation assistance for this role

Job Qualifications
- Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
- ability to pass a food service sanitation course
- ability to read comprehend and follow recipes
- familiarity with general kitchen equipment and appliances
- experience in food service or restaurant experience required
- comfortable standing stopping squatting twisting and moving frequently
- strong working knowledge of food preparation techniques cooking methods and safety and sanitation practices
Job Duties
- Preparation and oversight of household meals
- prepare healthy nutritious meals from scratch whenever possible
- maintain unit portions and report when a resident eats less than usual
- utilize fruits and vegetables grown in the Elite Care gardens whenever possible
- understand and follow each resident’s service plan as it relates to nutrition and hydration
- support residents’ autonomy by allowing residents to do as much for themselves as possible
