- Minimum one year prior experience in food preparation in commercial, military, or institutional setting
- Relevant technical training courses in food service preparation and cooking preferred
- Ability to communicate minimum production and service requirements to all personnel

Job Duties
- Prepare food according to the menu plan
- Manage inventory by placing and receiving orders for food and supplies
- Ensure food quality and schedule preparations
- Guide and train employees
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and safety
- Train inmate or detainee food service workers and inspect their work
