Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in a professional kitchen
- ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform kitchen duties
- adherence to food safety and sanitation guidelines
- ability to follow recipes and portion controls
- teamwork and communication skills

Job Duties
- Prepare, cook, and present food items for breakfast, lunch, dinner, banquets, or room service, depending on shift and hotel needs
- follow recipes, portion guidelines, and presentation standards to ensure consistency and quality
- set up and stock workstations with all necessary ingredients and equipment
- operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently (grills, ovens, fryers, slicers, etc.)
- maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen areas, equipment, and tools
- follow proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures at all times
- assist in prep work such as chopping vegetables, marinating proteins, and preparing sauces
- monitor food supplies and communicate inventory or quality issues to supervisors
- assist with cleaning and closing duties as assigned, including waste disposal
- work collaboratively with other kitchen and front-of-house team members to ensure timely and efficient service
- comply with hotel policies and local health department regulations
