Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in a kitchen or food service role
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations
  • Good physical stamina
  • Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

  • Experience in food preparation and cooking

Job Duties

  • Work closely with the Dining Services Manager to coordinate food ordering and preparation
  • Ensure food is prepared in a nutritional and appetizing fashion
  • Maintain supplies and kitchen equipment
  • Adhere to kitchen sanitation and safety standards
  • Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers
  • Monitor food quality and portion control
  • Assist in training and supporting kitchen staff
