Job Requirements
- Ability to do the work of a cook without more than normal supervision

Job Duties
- Prepare and cook fresh, frozen, and canned fruits and vegetables
- Prepare cereals, eggs, soups, meat, gravies, sauces, fish, poultry, and starch substitutes
- Maintain personal hygiene and wear required uniform and hairnet daily
- Adhere to kitchen safety procedures including safe handling of hot liquids and sharp equipment
- Perform cleaning duties and maintain cleanliness in kitchen areas
- Lift and move kitchen items safely up to 40 pounds or more with assistance
- Work efficiently in a noisy and high-temperature kitchen environment
