Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalency preferred
- understanding of institutional cooking in a healthcare facility
- ability to work rotating shifts including weekends and holidays
- physical ability to balance, bend, stoop, kneel, reach, stand, walk, push and pull carts weighing up to 50 lbs
- ability to lift products between 25 and 30 lbs
- good hearing and clear speech
- near visual acuity for reading menus, thermometers, and recipes
- manual dexterity for operating equipment
- adherence to safety and standard precautionary practices
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- prepare, portion, and serve hot foods according to recipes and proper food handling techniques

- assist in other areas as needed to provide adequate staffing
- follow safety protocols to reduce exposure to hazards and communicable diseases
- operate kitchen and food service equipment safely
- maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in food preparation and serving areas
