Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 0 to 2 years of related cooking or food preparation experience preferred but not required
- ability to follow recipes and food safety guidelines
- strong teamwork and communication skills
- adaptability to varying shift schedules
- commitment to maintaining cleanliness and safety standards in the kitchen
Job Duties
- Accurately and efficiently prepare, portion, cook, and present a variety of hot and/or cold food items for various meal periods including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special/catered events
- read and follow basic recipes and/or product directions for preparing various food items
- prepare food and serve customers at an a la carte or operate a grill station
- attend work and show for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
- perform other duties as assigned, varying by account and client requirements
- contribute to reducing food waste and maintaining a safe kitchen environment
- work collaboratively as part of a team
