Job Requirements

  • 0 to 2 years of related cooking experience preferred
  • Open availability to work varying shifts, including days and hours
  • Ability to follow directions and recipe instructions accurately
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced team environment
  • Commitment to punctuality and regular attendance
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Compliance with health and safety standards

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous experience in food preparation or cooking is beneficial
  • Ability to read and follow basic recipes
  • Team-oriented with strong interpersonal skills
  • Adaptable and reliable
  • Strong commitment to food safety and sanitation
  • Ability to work varying shifts and flexibility in scheduling

Job Duties

  • Accurately and efficiently prepare, portion, cook, and present a variety of hot and/or cold food items for various meal periods including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special/catered events
  • Read and follow basic recipes and/or product directions for preparing various food items
  • May prepare food and serve customers at an a la carte and/or operate a grill station
  • Attend work and show for scheduled shifts on time with satisfactory regularity
  • Perform food waste reduction and sustainable cooking practices
  • Maintain a safe and healthy working environment
  • Other duties as assigned depending on business necessities and client requirements
