Job Requirements
- Prepare all items to Greene Turtle standards
- practice safety and sanitation measures
- understand food hierarchy and sanitation specifications
- assume 100 percent responsibility for product quality
- comply with portion sizes, cooking methods, and kitchen policies
- stock and maintain food products
- complete prep work and proper labeling
- maintain clean and sanitary work station
- prepare food using various cooking methods
- follow plate presentation and garnish setup
- assist in food prep during off-peak periods
- assist in dishwashing during off-peak periods
- work well in a fast-paced team environment
- clean and maintain kitchen and storage areas
- properly use and maintain kitchen equipment
- adhere to shelf-life standards
- use checklists for kitchen setup and breakdown
- perform cleaning duties as assigned
- practice safe food handling
- complete shift change and closing duties
- maintain performance standards
- perform additional duties as requested by management
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior cooking experience preferred
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- strong communication skills

- ability to follow recipes and kitchen procedures
