  • practice safety and sanitation measures
  • understand food hierarchy and sanitation specifications
  • assume 100 percent responsibility for product quality
  • comply with portion sizes, cooking methods, and kitchen policies
  • stock and maintain food products
  • complete prep work and proper labeling
  • maintain clean and sanitary work station
  • prepare food using various cooking methods
  • follow plate presentation and garnish setup
  • assist in food prep during off-peak periods
  • assist in dishwashing during off-peak periods
  • work well in a fast-paced team environment
  • clean and maintain kitchen and storage areas
  • properly use and maintain kitchen equipment
  • adhere to shelf-life standards
  • use checklists for kitchen setup and breakdown
  • perform cleaning duties as assigned
  • practice safe food handling
  • complete shift change and closing duties
  • maintain performance standards
  • perform additional duties as requested by management

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior cooking experience preferred
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • strong communication skills

  • ability to follow recipes and kitchen procedures

Job Duties

  • practice safety and sanitation measures

  • complete all assigned prep work and labeling
  • keep work station clean, organized, and sanitary
  • prepare items by grilling, frying, broiling, or other cooking methods
  • follow proper plate presentation and garnish setup
