Job Requirements

  • Must meet minimum age requirement and be authorized to work in the United States
  • Ability to bend, reach, stoop, and safely lift up to 30 pounds
  • Capacity to stand for 8 to 12 hour shifts
  • Ability to work as part of a team with attention to detail and multitasking skills

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Prior cooking experience in a restaurant or food service environment is an asset
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
  • Basic knife skills and food preparation techniques
  • Strong attention to detail and capacity for multitasking

Job Duties

  • Accommodate and stock prep and line stations
  • Clean, sanitize, and organize kitchen area, equipment, and utensils
  • Check ingredient quality and freshness
  • Prepare, season, and cook food according to recipes, measured quantities, and specifications while maintaining portion control systems
  • Inspect food preparation and serving areas, utensils, and equipment to ensure safe and sanitary food handling practices
  • Substitute or assist other cooks and kitchen stations during busy periods
