Job Requirements
- Previous kitchen experience required
- Ability to work Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 2:00 pm
- Must follow safety and sanitation guidelines including use of gloves and protective equipment
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Capability to handle food safely and follow portion control
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely
- Must be able to perform physical tasks related to the job
- Willingness to attend required training and in-service meetings

Job Duties
- Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions
- Serves meals or prepares for delivery using correct portioning and ensures food is at the correct temperature and appetizing
- Uses established ticket collection procedures during service and maintains records
- Cleans kitchen after preparation and serving, maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Stores or discards excess food per safe food-handling procedures
- Keeps refrigerators and storerooms clean and organized
- Operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed
- Assists in production planning, record keeping, and reporting
- Assists in ordering and receiving of food and supplies
- Reports maintenance issues, faulty equipment, or accidents to supervisor immediately
- Attends in-service and safety meetings
- Maintains good working relationships with coworkers, customers, administrators, and managers
- Performs job safely while maintaining a clean, safe work environment
- Ensures proper presentation, portion control, and serving temperatures while following HACCP standards
- Commits personally to safety of self and others
- Abides by all company safety policies including use of gloves, oven mitts, slip-resistant shoes, and proper lifting techniques
- Performs other duties as assigned
