Job Requirements

  • have a current Food Handler card
  • at least 1 year professional cooking experience
  • availability to work any shift including weekends

Job Duties

  • assisting chef/kitchen manager in daily activities
  • consulting with the chef/kitchen manager to coordinate timing of orders and production schedules
  • producing sandwiches, salads, entrees, catering trays, and soups for hot and cold cases
  • performing counter work during busy periods
  • timely delivery of assigned orders and other orders as needed
  • assisting with ordering and maintaining inventory of fresh, frozen, and sundry products
  • training new kitchen workers and assistants
  • preparing deep fried, baked, stove top foods, and salads
  • maintaining positive relations with customers, vendors, and employees
  • maintaining health and safety sanitation requirements
  • possessing a current Food Handler card
