Job Requirements
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent education
- Knowledge of State and Federal food-handling regulations, including food service operations
- Demonstrated ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
- Demonstrated compatibility with PHS's mission and operating philosophies
- Ability to work part-time hours
- Commitment to maintaining food safety and sanitation standards

- Prior experience in a food preparation or cooking role preferred
Job Duties
- Prepare and serve attractive, nutritious, and palatable meals consistent with regulations and established policies
- Ensure compliance with State and Federal food-handling regulations
- Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment
- Collaborate with team members to plan and execute daily menus
- Monitor food inventory and assist with ordering supplies
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with residents and staff
- Uphold PHS’s mission and operating philosophies in daily work
