Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum of 1-2 years experience in a commercial cooking position
  • ability to work full-time hours including weekends and holidays
  • physical capability to perform cooking and kitchen duties
  • compliance with food safety regulations
  • enthusiasm for learning and teamwork

Job Duties

  • prepare and present meals according to high culinary standards
  • educate servers and residents about meal details
  • assist Dining Services Director in building a cohesive and skilled culinary team
  • develop personal relationships to enhance teamwork and service quality
  • ensure understanding of cooking, food preparation, and presentation processes among team members
  • maintain kitchen cleanliness and safety standards
  • contribute to a positive dining experience through passion and hospitality
