Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Food safety certification required such as ServSafe, to be obtained within 3 months of hire
- One year of relevant food production experience required

- Specialized culinary training or institutional/retail cooking experience preferred
Job Duties
- Prepare foods for patients, guests, residents, and employees
- Assure facility cleanliness, sanitation, and maintenance of equipment and supplies
- Follow food safety and hygiene regulations
- Monitor inventory and supplies to ensure availability of ingredients
- Maintain kitchen work areas and equipment in good working order
- Collaborate with dietary and health care staff to meet patient dietary needs
- Adhere to all health and safety guidelines while preparing foods
