Job Requirements

  • Food preparation skills
  • knowledge of HACCP standards
  • minimum of 1 year cooking experience
  • understanding of cooking methods including soups, saute, broiler, fry, and pantry
  • ability to read and comprehend instructions and policy documents
  • ability to lift or move up to 40 pounds
  • ability to bend, twist, and stand for extended periods
  • ability to frequently work with sharp knives and hot surfaces
  • ability to frequently immerse hands in water with chemical solutions

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year of related cooking experience
  • knowledge of food preparation and HACCP standards
  • ability to understand and follow recipes and menu instructions
  • interpersonal skills to converse with customers and team members
  • experience in high volume or fast casual dining environment preferred

Job Duties

  • Prepare cooked foods according to recipes and product directions
  • execute all station functions including Fry, Flat Top Griddle, Pantry, and egg cooking
  • communicate ticket times and potential problems to management and servers
  • provide high quality service consistently to customers and associates
  • clean and sanitize work stations and kitchen equipment
  • practice excellent food safety and sanitation following HACCP standards
  • operate kitchen equipment and handle food preparation tasks such as peeling, cutting, and shredding ingredients
