Job Requirements

Job Duties
- Operate kitchen equipment to prepare, measure, mix, wash, peel, cut and shred fruits and vegetables and trim and cut meat, poultry and fish for use
- Control food waste, loss and usage according to operational guidelines
- Check pars for shift use and determine necessary preparation, freezer pull and line set up
- Avoid over preparation while starting food items prepared ahead of time for meetings and events
- Assist in preparation, production and service of special functions
- Filter oil in the deep fat fryer daily
- Store food deliveries, date and rotate containers as required
- Clean and sanitize all kitchen equipment and areas safely
- Notify managers of equipment or area issues
- Follow sanitation standards and proper hand washing techniques
- Prevent cross contamination and practice safety standards
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor
